Be a Part of Something BIG: Join PHMS PTSA!
Perry Hall Middle School is the BIGGEST MIDDLE SCHOOL in Baltimore County. This school year we are projected to have more than 1860 students and be at 110 percent of our capacity. As our student body grows, it is extremely important that parent, staff and community support for Perry Hall Middle School PTSA also grows. We don’t want size to be a detriment to our children’s education. We want the financial resources to make sure Baltimore County’s BIGGEST middle school also is its BEST.
Perry Hall Middle School PTSA represents the interests of all students and their parents. We partner with the school administration and teachers on a variety of initiatives, serve as an advocate for parents, and a liaison to the community.
This year our PTSA is keeping things simple and having a “no frills fundraiser.” To ensure that we won’t have to cut programs, or reduce the level of support we give students and staff, If every Perry Hall Middle School family donates a minimum of $25 per student to the PTSA, we will have the funds we need to offer all the programs we have in the past.Go LARGE! Your Donation Makes a BIG Difference!
Perry Hall Middle School PTSA is a nonprofit organization and will receive 100 percent of the funds you donate, unlike with a typical sales fundraiser. All monetary donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. (Assuming the PTSA receives the financial support we are requesting, the only fundraisers we will have this year will be restaurant spirit nights, spiritwear sales, a Chick-fil-A calendar sale, Box Tops 4 Education, basketball game concessions, and an ongoing shoe collection fundraiser. By themselves, these will not raise enough money to fund our budget.)Get INVOLVED!
Perry Hall Middle School PTSA understands that free time is a commodity nobody has a lot of, but encourages families to be as involved with our organization as they like and as their schedule permits. A variety of opportunities exist to help at school, as well as on your own time and on your own schedule. No matter what your availability, there is something you can do. Typically, the time commitment is less than what most volunteers find at the elementary school level. Everyone who responds that they would like to help will receive an e-mail acknowledgement. You can complete the Volunteer form and complete your required volunteer training at the BCPS Volunteer website.
Please take a moment to complete the PTSA membership form and the PTSA Fundraising/Volunteer Form will be posted soon. Return them to school with your child or mail it to the school address above. If you prefer to pay by credit card, please use the links above. Thank you for your support!Join PHMS PTSA by September 30 and You Could WIN!!
